This new programme provides comprehensive coverage for EVs including:

  • Battery Degradation cover: provides cover for battery degradation at the end of your lease
  • Excess Waiver cover: provides a payment of up to $1,000 per policy year to assist with the payment of your insurance excess in the event of an at fault accident
  • Vehicle Downtime cover: provides two payments of $500 per policy year due your vehicle being off the road for 5 or more business days due to a mechanical / electrical fault, replacement part unavailability or accident
